Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“Oak Tree Mobility were very good indeed- very pleasant- I have no complaints at all. The sales representative was excellent- really good. The delivery people we`re not so good. They didn`t check everything before they left and there were bits my husband had to finish. I am sitting in my chair now and I`m very comfy.”

“My mum and dad have had a few issues with the chair but this has been resolved very efficiently by Oak Tree Mobility. Their after care is excellent and have made sure we are happy. If you can afford one of these products they are definitely worth it.”

“Fantastic service...”

“Very good. The only general comment I would like to make is that buyers need to be made aware that the mattress takes time to be flexible enough to settle as it should. This may take up to 6 months, so to have been aware of this would have been useful as currently my wife`s feet do not reach the floor when mobilising. Otherwise the whole service was very good- we had a lot of help from the agent that first came out and there was no pressure to buy at all, only support.”

“The experience we had was straight forward and in comparison to other quotes from other companies Oak tree Mobility seemed to be the most fair. They have done exactly what they said they would do and so far the bed is proving very comfortable.”

“We have had a few problems with the product- measurements weren`t right for the fitted furniture we have around it. The company have been excellent in how they have dealt with this error though and compensation is due to us for the the changes we have had to make. The product itself is first class and we would definitely recommend the company.”

“I am happy with the company and would recommend.”

“The whole experience with Acorn was very good. I had a bit of trouble with my legs not reaching the plate and they came straight away and fixed another part to it. I feel you can ask them anything and they will try and help you.”

“I initially got a quote from another company and my best friend recommended Acorn after they had already called me. I am so glad i chose them as there was not a hitch anywhere throughout the whole experience. Excellent.”

“They were quick to respond to my enquiry and quick to install the product for us. Very happy with the excellent service.”

“Very quick and satisfactory, they had to liaise with my parents who are elderly but all went well and my parents weren`t confused at all.”

“Originally we had an afternoon slot which wasn`t convenient, so we asked for a morning slot which was another 3 days later- then they asked for 8:30am, my mother has carers so this is too early. They actually arrived at 7:30 am and had to wait outside for the carers to finish. Once started the installation was complete within an hour and a half. So we were very impressed with this. The process all went reasonably well and the stair lift is benefiting my mother greatly.”

“They came on time, they did the job and its perfectly fine and working. They were very courteous and very helpful.”

“I would recommend the company but I only have one little gripe in that when it had only been in for a couple of weeks the company were already trying to sell us the additional 4 years warranty to make 5 years covered. While I appreciate this may be peace of mind for some people, for us, it was just a little too much for us to think about so soon after paying out for the stair lift.”

“It was a very good job, well done, very satisfied with it. The speed that it was installed was far better than I had expected- 4 days from survey to installation.”

“The price didn`t change from the survey. I would recommend but with one comment, the selling of the 4 year warranty after the stair lift had been installed was rather sharp and didn`t make sense as the installer had already quoted it as being much less. I certainly didn`t want to think about 4 years ahead when the first year was covered. However, the functionality, and the way it was put in was all fine.”

“After it had been measured up we agreed a date and they came just a couple of days later. I am very surprised at how easy the whole thing was, with the ordering, the measuring up and the installation. I have recommended to a friend already.”

“The completion time was very good indeed. We found that the salesman was extremely good and the installer was very efficient, effective and to the point.”

“They were prompt courteous, and efficient, they did what they said on the tin. The stair lift has had needed a software upgrade since but that was sorted no problem.”

“They were very good with the follow up when we had a concern with the stair lift.”

“Overall I cannot fault them and I am happy with how quickly the stair lift was fitted. The only negative I found was that they said they would need to come back to make a minor adjustment but they didn`t come back. Having the stair lift fitted has made a real difference to my dad. SOMEBODY MEANT TO OCOME BACK TO FINISH SOMETHING OFF BUT DIDNT LIFT GOES UP HITTING INTO STOP OF STAIRS SOMETHING NEEDED TO BE RAISED WAS A WAY- BUT DIDNT HAVE TO HAND WAS GOING TO COME BACK”

“I found the company very prompt, efficient, professional and polite. The product has been a godsend to me.”

“Yes I definitely would recommend them. Very efficient and reliable .”

“Installed within 3-4 hours with no problems. Absolutely superb, cant fault them at all.”
