Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“I was promised a 4 week delivery but it took 8 weeks to finally receive the chair and that was with me continuously chasing them. The after sale service is appalling i am still waiting for an apology and feel i am owed compensation.”

“Very pleased with the product and service. Thank you for fitting stair lift so quickly, it has made life so much easier. Would recommend this company. Thank you.”

“Extremely happy with product and service”

“Kept changing times and dates and not turning up. Had to keep chasing them found it hard to get through. They finally knocked £100 off and gave an extra year free guarantee but that did not make up for all the missed time off work waiting for them to come and money lost as self-employed.”

“It required four fitters in the first week of fiiting the chair, to get it to work properly”

“Working okay, but a little noisier than expected”

“The surveyor came on time which was important as my daughter had come to be with me before she went to work. The young man who installed the stairlift was very pleasant and there was no unexpected problem with installation. The only worry I have is the folding end of the track and the wobble when I go over the hinge.I am sure its alright but I must admit Instop the stair lift just before the hinge and carefully get off. It has been a godsend because I am just improving after coming down with food poisoning. Only negative? The sudden phone calls selling a £600 warranty which I cannot afford.”

“Confusion with the seat. Had to pay extra for an electric seat.”

“Had some issues along the way. Was not on time and company did not call to say they were turning up.”

“Would have liked 1 track instead of 2”

“I have been away on holiday for 3 wks since installation but am satisfied with performance to-date.Delay in installing, and very poor communications with me and your carpenter lead to some serious misgivings.”

“Lift was good but not the extra things needed. Asked how long it would be advised a couple of weeks - when they actually started to 6 weeks later it was very inconvenient. £664 for adjustments they needed before even purchasing the stairlift. Kept getting put off again and again.”

“Had a few problems but always been sorted the same day”

“NO, 24/7 helpline is not open on a Sunday so if you have a problem on Sunday your stuck”

“Second to none. Courteous, came on time, extremely happy.”

“I have rated quality low at One simply because I am not qualified to give an opinion. 1”
