“The product is fantastic but unfortunately the customer service could be looked at. The delivery was late leaving us with no bed to sleep on with little understanding from the company. However the bed like i said is a great product.”

“They wanted to do install it sooner than the old stair lift could be taken out! So, too efficient! I felt they could have got the stair lift closer to the wall..and seat is too small with a slope. All of this issues are made worse for the fact that I am very tall and have problems with my knees. I don`t have a problem with the company, they just haven`t been able to cater for someone my size and with my medical challenges. I would still recommend them despite this as they have tried to help my situation.”

“Unfortunately they were late starting the install and then they had to change seat and swivel due to the configuration of the staircase which meant the job over ran by some time. Quite happy with the quality of the job.”

“Happy with the products just a couple things which made me mark them down, theirs a dink in the arm of the chair and the stair lift runs nice and smooth until it goes over the joints then its quite clunky, will contact companion if it gets any worse. Overall i would recommend them.”

“The day we asked it to be fitted he came at midday and had it all running, explained all the bits and pieces. It does what I ask and it really does take the strain of my legs.”

“They brought the chair but where I can`t use my right hand and the working mechanism is on the right side, they had to come back at a later date, to install the right chair. This was fine though, I didn`t mind. It frightens me a bit as its a bit noisy and I`m not used to it, but I would still give it a 5/5 for quality and I would recommend the company.”

“We came to an arrangement for the price and came to a good deal. They held the chair and settee until I was ready to move into the property. Top marks for the quality in both. Only one little problem with 2 little staples that have been sorted. The brochure explains everything, colour choices and designs...all fully shown in the brochures, so I was able to liaise with the Managing Director about the one that was right for me. The company are cordial and willing to work with you, a lovely, family company. All exceptionally helpful.”

“Overall i would recommend them but not a fan of the feet on the stairlift it felt very rough to touch looked chipped - i`m am not satisfied with the finish of the product.Thought i would get 10% of warrenty as i took it out for 4 years but the boy i spoke to on the line came across as though he didnt know anything about it so i am currently speaking with them to chase them up regarding this.”

“We had a rather bad experience with the ordering of the parts we needed. so much so it took 4 appointments over a month to get the stair lift in place and safe. The issue wasn`t with the survey but the person transferring the survey details onto the ordering form. Lots of errors. I would give 4/5 for the product as we still have to clean the hand rail. I would recommend the stair lift and the sliding rail as Companion were the only company with that product which suited our accommodation, but I would tell them to make sure they have ordered the correct parts before they come to install. The weeks that passed whilst waiting for them to get it right was tough, with me having to carry my mother up the stairs due to the handrail already being removed..”
