Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“My Mobility gave a lead time which matched that offered by their competitors but the actual lead time was twice as long and their customer service was poor. When I phoned to find out when they were going to start after the promised lead time had expired they said they would phone me back but never did. Six days later when I phoned again they said it would be another two weeks. Keen on selling but not bothered about after sales service. The product is fine though, so far anyway.”

“I have not been given a Customer number or the Serial number of the machine. Nor a completed Warranty Certificate, I am also unclear how zi apply for repairs or annual service”

“The Stairlift comparison site was a waste of time, and merely resulted in my receiving multiple phone calls. I still had to do all the analysis.”

“Such a friendly and personal service from Dale Richardson. Unfortunately, due to the 2 Easter Bank Holidays instalation was a little delayed but when the day came it was all done within a couple of hours. No mess and very little disruption to the rest of the house (apart from making the odd mug of tea). Al expectations were metand I am very pleased with the product and afterservice so far. Thank you HomeLife”

“Not needed I’m in hospital.”

“Fitter bought the wrong stair lift so wasn't fitted when agreed otherwise great service”

“I wasn’t properly informed that if the stairlift control was let go on the way either up or down one was left stranded and the remote control operated by the person helping came to the rescue. Flakes of stuff on the carpet and a piece fell off . On phoning and told that’s fine put it in a drawer. Asked for engineer took three phone calls.. App. for. 20 days later. Though the stairlift is still in use ,so not a real problem.”

“Josh fitted the appliance. He was very professional. Any questions we had were answered with confidence. He knew everything about the stairlift operating system. He explained everything in a comprehensive way. Josh is a lovely young man. No mess left behind. Very polite and respectful.”

“This company came up with a solution that enabled us to fit a stairlift affordably, when other companies said we'd have to make changes to the home/stairway, it wasn't possible or it was outrageously expensive. We are more than happy. It gives us both so much peace of mind. Thank you My Mobility”

“We had a very positive experience with all the staff we spoke to and the installer was excellent. He had to come back twice because there was a fault on the stairlift, but he was very helpful and persevered to find the fault and it is now working perfectly.”

“There was a problem with the raising of the bottom rail which necessitated another visit one week later. The remote buttons are hard to see so it’s easy to confuse up and down. The mechanism is noisy and the seat has developed a squeak.”

“Good product, great service.”
