Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“Very professional, we need to get them back as there`s a small fault with the lift. They were first class other than that.”

“Everything was fine, my only problem is my dog doesn`t like it and now won`t go up the stairs!”

“Yes I would recommend certainly as I had no problems whatsoever.”

“When the fitter came in he was very polite, very clean very helpful. The sales guy was great too. Very happy with the experience.”

“It was pretty good quality, but it surprised me that they mounted it over the carpet. The installer told us exactly what he was doing and then just got on with it... it took about 3 hours. The chair is the only thing that has value as the track is made to measure so I would advise people to get several quotes to make sure they are getting the right deal. I am happy with the stair lift and it really does do what it says on the tin!”

“Full marks for the workmanship, No problems at all with the sales guy or the installation.”

“It is very useful and ideal for the purpose it is meant for. They started a day early and they completed it in half a day. The rep was excellent and we know exactly what we paid for.”

“Very good quality. No problems at all, I am very happy with the experience.”

“Stair lift was for my Aunt who has found it very beneficial. I wasn`t there when the stair lift was installed but other family members had no complaints and all went smoothly.”

“Although Acorn were ok and they fitted stair lift on time they cut stair carpet which they had to pay to be replaced. We found the stairlift very clunky and bumpy and not very comfortable.”

“The company installed 19 hours from when they surveyed so very quickly - The fitter was brilliant and the sales guy was not pushy at all. There`s only been 1 little hiccup I had in that they give you a letter saying they can give you an extended warranty for 5 years and if we take this out within the week there would be a £70 voucher sent to us. Well I sent the cheque for the warranty and 2/3 months on I am still waiting for my voucher. Whenever I call, all the customer service team say is that they will send an email. Its just not good enough. Other than that I have been very happy with Acorns value for money and service they have provided.”

“Acorn were very efficient with no problems and they did everything on time. I have found the stair lift very useful and it has made a big difference.”

“Everything was fine, they were very quick and prompt and provided a professional service. No complaints.”

“Acorn were very professional and we had no trouble with them at all. Unfortunately we haven`t been able to use the stairlift very much as my husband had to go to hospital but it will benefit him when he returns.”

“The stair lift has made a huge difference to me and has opened up the whole house. Acorn were very helpful and it was an easy process.”

“They came and installed the next day after the survey, I would say they were very helpful and they did it very quickly. There is a bit of a squeak lately so I was going to ring them if it continues after me dusting it, but apart from that it all works perfectly.”

“We are very happy with the stair lift and we got what we wanted. Even though it is early days we have had no problems at all so we are very happy and would recommend them.”

“They came out on Bank Holiday Sunday so I cannot fault them for that. They installed faster than expected and left everything immaculately tidy. The company was very easy to deal with and the guy that came out and fitted it was polite and helpful, he was just lovely. .”

“The sales man did not go through things properly with me and initially i was given the wrong chair but this was sorted after i made them aware. I was given 2 remote controls but neither work - they cant give me a time frame of when i will get replacements. i would not recommend”

“Very good and very efficient, explained everything very well, but I had one little niggle at the end. The £500 deposit cheque I gave at the beginning has been lost somehow and they have sent me an invoice for the full amount. I obviously don`t want to clear this until I know what has happened to my cheque. Its a shame because it was a very good job. Spoiled by not very good accounting -.....other than that I would still recommend the company as everything else was very good.”

“I cant fault them they were very good. Just a little bit of a noise with the lift but if it develops further I will call them.”

“It all went plain sailing The stair lift and installation was of excellent quality The gentleman who came originally was very helpful and the chap that came to put it in was very polite and efficient and they did a good job.”

“i would highly recommend - very safe and functional.”

“Done with no problem. Very quick - excellent quality. I cant fault them. From the day the salesman came to the day it was fitted everything was first class.”
