Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“Initially the Agent was a little pushy but we had to have the Stairlift anyway so there was really no need to be. The Installers left everything clean and tidy. The after Sales service could be improved on.”

“Apart from the Maintenance cost being high and the Stairlift having an annoying bleep it is all good. My wife has found the Stairlift beneficial and it means now she can sleep upstairs.”

“Definitely beneficial and has helped me tremendously. Very good service.”

“The Engineer came at lunch time and found difficulty due to head room but was still finished by 6pm and did an excellent job. Very happy with the Stairlift.”

“The company were extremely helpful and gave good advice, the stair lift has one or two little quirks as its curved and has 2 charging points. The company gave me a run through and then I had to try and remember the first time. I would recommend the company, It has made a big difference to me.”

“I found them very professional. No hard sell. They offer a 14 day money back guarantee if your not happy. I have already recommended them to family and friends.”

“The Initial price was well above the online quote but Acorn managed to bring it in on my budget. I am very happy and the stairlift and it has made and enormous difference. The only negative was the follow up call to sell an extended warranty was a little too soon after the purchase.”

“I found Acorn very professional and efficient. Although the engineer was a little late he finished everything in the time scale and left everything tidy. The guide price on line was very good also.”

“Although it took some time to agree on a delivery date the installation was very fast. The process was pretty straight forward and competitively priced. We like the design as it has a Suretrack system so there are no tripping hazards. The seat belt is a little awkward if your not very mobile and my wife is taking time to get used to the controls.”

“Very impressed with the engineer that came out to measure up as he was very informative. The guy who installed was very efficient and explained everything really well. Definitely made a difference.”

“The stairlift was for my father and it has enhanced his living ability and means he can remain independent in his own home. Although the handrail was missed on the initial installation it was quickly rectified and now all ok.”

“Companion were a very nice, honest company. Good to deal with and wife is finding it beneficial as she was struggling getting up the stairs before.”

“All very good. Very satisfied.”

“They hadnt included something in the beginning quote that they should of so we got this free of charge which was good. I was expecting them early in the morning but they didn`t come until later in the day which did inconvenience me a little. I would recommend recommend the company as overall with the quality and price I was happy with the service.”

“Met expectations.”

“Great, really good advise for what we needed, they were very honest. No over pricing and no hidden extra charges, very quick service and worked around when was best for us.”

“No nonsense- transparent. What they quoted was the price with no hidden extras or charges. All facts and no quibble.”

“I don`t like the design - its functional at works fine. I would recommend to people as long as they don`t mind the way it looks!”

“We found Acorn very professional and they did everything they said they would. Very happy with the result.”

“Thorough and professional and i would recommend to anyone. They gave us lots of information on how to operate the Stairlift.”

“Happy with the Stairlift, very useful.”

“We had 2 stairlifts fitted one to the top floor and one to the basement which means we can now use the whole of the house. Very good service from Acorn and the Installer was very nice, efficient and quickly did the installation. Unfortunately 2 weeks after installation we received details on extended 4 year warranty which wasn`t explained very well at the time but luckily Acorn let us pay by instalments and we now have the peace of mind that we are covered for the next four years should anything go wrong.”

“Very good service, came when they said they would and it only took 2 hours to install. It has made such a difference to my wife.”

“Young man who did the job i couldn`t fault in anyway. Very professional and they do everything they say they will do. Very quick installation. Can`t fault.”
