“Discount on original quote which was good. Happy, no mess, Installer was polite. It is a quality product and exactly what we wanted so very happy.”

“The Stairlift was for my father who was not allowed to be released from hospital until the Stairlift was fitted and working. Companion were aware of this and said if we arranged for father to come out of hospital they would come and turn stairlift on within 2 hours of him being home. Unfortunately this took 48 hours and as my father couldn`t go to bed or go to the toilet i had to put him up in a hotel. Companion did give me a small amount of compensation. Although the Stairlift is good the Customer Service part of the company needs to be addressed.”

“They were 2 weeks late which caused a bit of a problem but we were compensated for the inconvenience. The Installers were excellent but the Sales Office staff were slightly indifferent.”

We like the design as it has a Suretrack system so there are no tripping hazards. The seat belt is a little awkward if your not very mobile and my wife is taking time to get used to the controls.”

“They quoted to start on 17th Sept, they phoned and said it would be fitted on 24th. They then called again to say they would bring it forward. Then they didn`t turn up until the 20th. Fitted the wrong foot plate. They then couriered a foot plate down that evening. Then the next morning another foot plate arrived. Installer fitted it fine from that point. Fitter was fantastic, quality is brilliant. I would still recommend the company as the quality has turned out to be brilliant and far superior to another company we looked at. Just human error in the beginning I think.”

“A CAD 3d drawing was drawn up, I got told he would need to clarify whether the stairlift would fit ok by going through the technical team. However, no-one came back to me even though they knew it was a matter of urgency for my Mum. In the end it took 3 weeks to get a yes it would fit, this was before anything could be arranged. Then they didn`t turn up on the day the installation was arranged for. They were more interested in finding out what had happened rather than dealing with the issue, and at that time we just needed something to be fitted ASAP. Even though the start of the process was a shambles the install team were brilliant! It has really given my Mum a new lease of life and they actually installed another guard rail for my Mum which has really helped her. It is just a shame that there communication side of things were so appauling and condisending. Otherwise we are very happy with the product and installation!”

“My only issue with the company is that it did only take 3 hours to fit it when the survey messed us about saying it would take a whole day. This meant we put the installation back by 2 days due to my wifes hospital appointments. I am very happy with the product itself. The installer did a superb job. I have already recommended the company to another person who is having one installed.”

“few problems getting clarity on the delivery date - lots of promises from Scott the sales manager that didn`t happen - i found him very rude and abrupt and was very close to taking my business elsewhere. Kenny the fitter was a really nice guy left everything really tidy and finally after a rough start im happy with my stairlift.”

“I would advise for anyone to go ahead and use Companion. The only slight grudge I had experienced was that the older man who fitted the stairlift was abrupt, I think this was because his tools were left somewhere else so he wanted to postpone the job for another day however this was not possible so I asked to start on the day originally agreed on which they did. The younger staff member was amazing and happy.”

“A little bit of inconvenience with the installation as we were told up it would take up to 10 days but it actually took a little longer, this did delay my mother coming out of hospital. Other than that the installer was very good and left everything immaculately tidy. The stair lift itself is absolutely great quality and it has benefited my mother very much. I would totally recommend the company to others.”

“There was an issue with a hand rail at my mothers property so it held things back abit but Companion resolved the issue very promptly so we were all very happy. The Stairlift was well worth the money and the convenience of the product is so worth while in investing.”

The only issue was 2 days later it did stop working which the guy warned us about. The guy was straight out so it was resolved quickly and efficiently.
