“Guy arrived at 4pm didnt leave until 9pm. the guy fitted it in the middle of the stair case. They moved it towards the wall. The problem was rectifed quickly as my son was there to point it out. He also left a few bolts loose. They are still coming back to lower it.”

Very good installer, very polite, very helpful. The demonstration took about an hour, but the guy wanted to make sure we understood how to use it. “Although I am happy with the Stairlift they whole experience with Companion I found very stressful. There were a number of problems with installing the Stairlift and it took from Tuesday till Friday for it to finally be installed. They moved the handrail which came off a couple of days later. Not happy with Customer Services at Companion.”

The installer came and then decided he needed training, and the trainer was in the North so was unable to get to us on that day. This chap who needed training was quite rude. The Sales and installation in the end was fine despite this chap in the middle. I would still recommend them as the product and sales were good- it is just one chap that spoilt it for them.”

“There was a little bit of confusion at first because the Stairlift was external and 12m long. Initially they said they couldn`t do it and then they came back and said they could. Eventually they did and because of the going back and forth they reduced the price but it did cause a delay. I do find the stairlift a little bumpy as they had to put 7 joins in and every time the chair goes over a join it bumps but hopefully it will get better over time.”
