Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“I have used the company before for installing a stair lift in my own property, so I was more than happy to put them forward again for my father. We did have a slight problem with the product after installation, but the company soon came out and rectified this. I am very happy with them as a company.”

“The company were much less pushy than other companies we had got quotes from, they were very clean and business like in their approach and waited for when we were ready. The engineer that installed was fantastic and i couldn`t be happier with the service they provided.”

“Excellent company, they quoted so much better than another company the day before. The design of the track around the door is a really good feature and their follow up customer service is fantastic. They didn`t want to take the money until the job was complete and we were happy.”

“Everything was fine, it was all done pretty quick, and all is working well with the product itself.”

“The guy that quoted was first class the guy that fitted was first class the only criticism i have is phone calls i made to the office were not returned otherwise happy with the product”

“Happy with the product”

“I don`t want to comment any further”

“Although the quality of the product and the job itself was good i feel that the Customer Service side let the Company down. The job was started three weeks after the date the Rep gave me and i couldn`t get hold of the Customer Service Rep assigned to my case. The Engineers installing the Stair lift were very good.”

“i was very happy with the Company, the Engineers were very polite, courteous and delivered everything they had promised.”

“I was very happy with the service provided. The job was finished on time and matched the initial quote given.”

“I was very impressed with the quality of the work. You would never of known that the engineers had been. The engineers were very polite and courteous and the job was finished ahead of schedule.”

“Companion were very good and pleasant throughout.”

“They had a few problems with the fitting but it didn`t inconvenience me at all as we hadn`t moved into the property yet. I was very happy with the service they provided and the quality of the stair lift.”

“The people who came to fit the stair lift were charming and brilliant. The area was left spotless - you wouldn`t have guessed they were there. The quality and look of the lift is very good, however it hasn`t been used. My husband is now in a care home, and so we do not need the Stair lift anymore. Companion still want me to pay the full price before they remove it, even though it is brand new. I would strongly hate for someone else to go through the trouble I am currently having with this company.”

“They measured up incorrectly, meaning that the Stair Lift didn`t fit properly. It worked, my wife was able to get up and down the stairs, however it scrapes against the wall when it reaches the top. After three weeks, it`s working perfectly fine now. I would recommend Companion to other buyers, as long as the measurements are accurate.”

“The Stair lift was cheaper than our initial quote. Companion were very good, I would definitely recommend.”

“Its all gone very well and according to schedule. No problems with the stair lift since. Of course I would recommend the company to others.”

“Everything worked out fine.”

“The whole process went exactly how they said it would. They even matched the colour of the Stair Lift to our house decor, I`m very pleased with it.”

“Although we asked for some extra features, the initial quote remained the same. The stair lift itself is very neat and tidy; a little noisy, but you expect it to be. It`s very safe to use and overall a lovely piece of furniture. 5 stars to Companion.”

“Initially we had someone arrive to install and they had a stair lift for the wrong side of the stair case- so we had to wait another 6 weeks for the correct one to be installed. Once they did come I was very impressed with the ability and competence of the engineer.”

“I have no problems with the service from start to finish. The fitter in particular was friendly and very good and very neat in his work.”

“The stair lift is supposed to fit my mum and dad together and the safety belt fastens round the back of them where they can`t reach, I just feel as they are so elderly and reluctant to use it anyway, it is perhaps not simple enough. It would be fine for anyone a bit younger. The engineers were quite flexible and cooperative with the timing of the installation and they were always asking if there was anything they could do to help further. I would recommend them as a company to use.”

“They were very pleasant and very helpful both the sales guy and the engineer. No problems and very happy with the product.”
