Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“The stairlift was installed in just over an hour - and has been extremely valuable”

“The only problem I had was the extended warranty and cost was not explained at the point of sale. You get a phone call a few weeks after the lift is fitted. For a piece of equipment that is sold as almost faultless I think the extended warranty is a bit expensive. All that said I am very pleased with my Acorn stairlift, 5*****”

“I have found the stairlift very useful and it has been very good”

“My stairlift was ordered on a Tuesday and fitted on Wednesday. Everyone who came were polite, pleasant and efficient”

“My only complaint is to the cost of service agreement as I feel the cost is too high. I will consider this again after my warranty expires after 12 months.”

“My wife is 5 ft tall and her feet do not reach the foot rest. I was told by Acorn that there is no adjustment possible. Also it is painfully slow to reach its destination up or down. Recomend reading a book on the way.”

“Acorn was the only company that contacted us from this website and fitted the stair lift with 5 days.”

“Assistance from Stairlift Comparison was immediate after first making contact. We chose Acorn because they arrived within two hours of our enquiry and our new curved rail was measured for, installed, adjusted and fully functional within a week. The service we encountered from Acorn was nothing less than first class.”

“I would highly recommend this company. A good all-round service.”

“Acorn whent Above & beyond by Saying they would return and take the chair off when our New Bath was delivered by another company.”

“Extremely nice staff. Fast install”

“Very satisfied.”

“The stair lift and installation were fine. However we purchased it quickly in order to get my Mother home from hospital. On reflection we should have shopped around as we could have got the same stair lift fitted at less than half the price!! We paid £2495 for a straight Acorn glide 130 . Unfortunately my Mother passed away without even using it and we have approached Acorn to see if they'd have it back and they have refused ( in the house less than a month) . Obviously we expected to take a re”

“From initial contact with Acorn on Monday am, Assessors/Planners visit on Tuesday am, to fitting on time on Wednesday morning with a very helpful instruction on how to use - everything left tidy and clean. Just 3 days to transform my wife’s quality of life - a great achievement.”

“I'm very pleased with my new starlit. Thank you at least I have one that works.”

“Ordered Friday fitted Wednesday very good”

“The only company to demonstrate their products”

“Very helpful corporative people”

“Installed without fuss or bother. Quiet and efficient. Easy to control. Patient uses it with confidence and without undue concern. It is a life changer for patient and carer. Recommend the machine and the installation process.”

“This is a curved stairlift to traverse a landing. As it moves from sloping to near level and back to sloping again, it jolts and grinds. I expected a much smoother ride. Apparently that's the way they are. Very disappointing. I can see no reason for this and the installers cannot explain it.”

“Works well. Solid construction.Well designedGood. Service .”

“Excellent servicr”

“The sales guy was brilliant as were the fitter Great service all round”

“I couldn't of asked for anything More. The staff overall were very tentative and very helpful. We needed the stair lift for when our son visits to give him the independence that he wants and we gave him that by having g the stair lift fitted. Its very compact and easy to maintain. Thanks for making your website easy to use.”
