We try and stay as mobile as possible my husband and I but its good to have that safety net should I have off days where my arthritis plays up and my family have peace of mind as well for our safety in moving up and down the stairs.”

“The service was not as expected as the sales guy promised the following weekend for installation which then got refused after my deposit and order was placed. Also the survey guy did not communicate our measurements and requirements properly as the installer was unaware that a radiator cover had to be removed. This has meant my father now needs to lift his legs as he goes up to the top of the staircase. The quality of the product is excellent, but these errors in the first place has affected the over-all result for us. I would recommend the company but I would also make others aware of our problems experienced.”

“I thought they were very proper in the way they handled the finances with my mother, they were clear on the price and they presented my mother with a proper receipt ...the price was very affordable. The whole experience you expect to be unaffordable and far more of a upheaval than what it is. The stair-lift was fitted within a week of getting the survey and they really did do a super job- it has made a big difference to my mothers confidence as she was sometimes a prisoner upstairs in her own bedroom as she was too afraid to use the stairs. I would certainly recommend for anyone to use Acorn above any other company.”

“The stair- lift didn`t work after installation due to a faulty part- but the engineer came out the next day and replaced it. One thing I find trying is keeping your finger on the button to go up or come down and its slightly a more rougher ride than I would have liked, but that might be due to our staircase not being straight. I would suggest to other people to try the company as the product has made a big difference to my life.”
