Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“They arrived early and started the job on time. I`m very pleased with it.”

“The job was better than the initial quote we were given. My parents seem to be very happy with it. The only negative I have would be that they didn`t make clear at the start of the process, the cost of the warranty.”

“Overall happy.”

“Very good service, no problems so far. Seems to be reliable and has made my mothers life easier and better.”

“My only query is the permanent flashing red light on the stair lift. Otherwise I am very happy with the service they provided and the product.”

“The Acorn reps were smart, efficient, and really helpful in explaining everything to me. I found that all the staff were very polite and pleasant, I can`t fault them in any way, they`re all very nice people. The stair lift however has just started to make a rattling noise when in use which I need to get sorted. But yes, I was very happy with the overall service and would recommend Acorn to others.”

“I am very happy with it.”

“I have already recommended the company to others. They were an excellent company from start to finish. Everything they told me about what it was and what would happen is what they delivered- there was no time wasting. I am now using the product well...”

“Very happy with everything.”

“I didn`t like the rep that came to measure up, so Acorn kindly sold me a new lift rather than a reconditioned one. Although the measuring wasn`t done accurately which caused a few problems, the men that came to fit the life were hardworking and excellent. I am very pleased with how it looks and it was installed very well. Despite the issues in the beginning, I would recommend Acorn to other buyers based on the end result.”

“I would definitely recommend Acorn.”

“The job was in fact cheaper than the initial quote I was given. I would recommend Acorn, they provided a really good, helpful service.”

“VERY GOOD.”

“The company were very efficient and prompt, from when I made the enquiry they were quick to get back to me and the installation went very smoothly.”

“It was installed in my mother-in-laws but we would certainly recommend to others in terms of the service she has received.”

“The chap didn`t explain things as well as I would have liked with demonstrating the product..such as the ignition key etc.... I would however recommend the company, the stair lift is excellent..and everyone has been very helpful and efficient.”

“They took away all the containers and left everything tidy. The man was very nice, polite so we are very happy.”

“The Stair lift broke down a few months ago: they came and repaired it quickly, however it still makes some strange noises. At the moment its working fine, and I`d still recommend Companion as a whole.”

“I am happy with the operation of the stair lift, however, the wiring was put around the door frame rather than hidden inside and also where the stair carpet was taken up after they put down again there was a bulge in it, so this hadn`t been finished properly. Yes I would recommend them but I would advice that people watch the finish of the job to make sure these finer details are completed properly.”

“The chap that came was very nice and very friendly and explained everything very well. I am very pleased with it.”

“I was very happy with the service and its working well for me.”

“I just think its all fine, and my husband thinks its wonderful and the best thing that could`ve happened to us as we now don`t have to move house.”

“The whole process was straightforward, they did exactly what they said with no problems.”

“We were very pleased with the quick turn a round time for installation, we didn`t have to wait long at all. We did have a problem with the charging mechanism after installation so I can`t rate the quality as top marks. This was sorted quite efficiently after calling them however.”
