Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“Very good, Acorn answered all my questions on the initial visit. Very satisfactory no problems and a quick service.”

“The Stairlift is marvelous and has done wonders for my legs as there is no strain going up the stairs anymore. Although i find the ride a little bumpy. The Surveyor was very professional and the installers were nice.”

“Very efficient and professional. The only problems we had was Acorn changing the initial appointment due to sickness, having to leave the keys in the stair lift, and the red light staying on as father likes everything to be off at night. Other than that the Surveyor was amazing and gave us lots of information and the Installers were neat and tidy. Fitted so quickly. Amazing.”

“They came and did what they said they would do. Tremendous. Very quick service.”

“Very quick service, top class. Very friendly and professional.”

“Prompt service with the attention to detail as expected. Engineering is superb.”

“Fantastic - from the quality of the workmanship to the installers and the customer services it was perfect. Very fast service and from initial contact the stair lift was fitted within 10 days. Excellent.”

“Very quick service. The fitters were very good and we couldn`t fault them. Stair lift is very easy to operate.”

“They made a big hiccup with the measuring in the first place, then the stair lift has broken down twice. The poor chap was here for 8 hours trying to fix it. After that the thing still went wrong! They came out again to fix and so far all seems ok, but becuase of my experience so far I am afraid I wouldn`t recommend the company based on the quality of the product.”

“Paid less than the quote as other work was being done in the area. We didn`t have to wait long for installation and the installation itself didn`t take long at all. Made such a difference.”

“Price paid was cheaper than the quote, very happy with the service and easy to use. The installer was great.”

“Fine as far as I can say no further comment.”

“The stair lift was for my wife and it works brilliantly. It is very good quality and we are very happy with it. I find it easy to operate and the company was good to.”

“The Stair lift is just a little awkward to operate when you get off after the bend at the top of stairs but other than that we found it very very good. The gentleman who came round to do the survey was very satisfactory and we would recommend Acorn to other customers.”

“We are very happy with the quality of the stair lift and it is very comfortable. The only problem for us is that we found the service charges to be quite high. Other than that everything was really good.”

“Acorn were the only company that could fit a stair lift for me as I have a very narrow staircase. I received slightly forceful follow up calls trying to sell me their repair contract for 4 years; I found this slightly aggressive as i`d only had it for a week and couldn`t afford more than what I`d already paid.”

“Best stair lift and we are really happy with it. The Installers left everything so clean and tidy when they had finished. The process itself was so quick and easy and we have already recommended Acorn to other people and given them a demonstration.”

“Prompt action, my father`s was installed within 3 days of enquiring. I was so pleased that I recommended them to my mother in law. They installed hers within 2 days. I couldn`t fault them.”

“Hassle free quality service and a fantastic quality product. Great customer service, how all companies should be run.”

“Generally a very good, easy experience overall. Was delivered on time with great service. Definitely recommend.”

“We found Acorn to be a very thoughtful company. The installers were very polite and friendly but not over familiar. Although we are very happy with the quality of the Stair lift it is a little noisy and may need fine tuning. It has made a huge difference to my husband as he would not of been able to stay at home if we didn`t have the Stair lift. We have already recommended Acorn to other people.”

“I found Acorn very professional and it was nice that they specialise in Stair lifts only. We are very happy with the product and it has made a great difference.”

“Stair lift was for my mum. She took a little bit of time to get used to the Stair lift but when she did there was no holding her back. Perfect as good as i hoped.”

“I would recommend but I would tell them to have a look around at others too to make sure they are getting a good deal.”
