“Really happy overall, did have a slight problem initially with the battery not being fully charged so having to wait 24 hours before we could use the stairlift. Would be good if they could fully charge it before fitting it.”

“The price came down from when they first quoted me. I had to have bannisters re-done which they didn`t realise in the survey, so the job took a little longer to complete than first thought, but this wasn`t their fault. I spoke to the joiner who did the modifications and he did his job just right. Very happy.”

“The installation was rather delayed which annoyed me a little bit. The sales guy promised 10-15 days but it was a lot longer than that. One little hiccup once installed on the Friday after I had got my wife up the stairs, the lift got stuck up the top, the engineer came out the next day to fix so my wife was stuck upstairs for this time. Other than that I am very happy with the company and would recommend them.”

“They started quicker than I could believe! The guy who installed was lovely so everything was just fine. The one issue I did have with the stair lift they resolved straight away the next day.”

“They had to come back to fix something. They couldn`t come back for 2 weeks. Not that brilliant as a company, getting through to them was an issue. No one called me when they said they would. They set up a payment plan and this had to be done through the bank which was stressful. My elderly mum wouldn`t have been able to cope with this process at all.”

“Not happy with Companion at all. The stairlift was for my father and everything we had prearrange with the Surveyor did not happen. We were quoted 7 - 10 day turn around and it ended up nearly 3 months. We were told it was made to measure but dad can`t reach floor. The tradesman were good Installer, chippy and plumber who moved radiator good. Down to Surveyor problems offering something they can`t deliver on. Quite stressful experience and would not recommend them to anyone else.”

“Spot on with the timings, they did it quicker than I thought in approx 1.5-2 hours. They were very careful and very clean; no mess at all. The quality was to a high standard and I have already recommended to others. This has really made a big difference to me.”

“The guy cleared up and hoovered after him, the quality of the engineers work was very good generally. I did have some issues with the seat and the quality of the padding didn`t fit into the back of the seat. So I took photos to email and the company called me a few days later so an engineer is coming out as soon as is convenient for me to replace the seat. Very impressed with the customer care side of the things and I am hoping the issues will be resolved on the second replacement. Otherwise really pleased with the product and the company.”
