Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“Job well done. The Installers explained everything really well. My Gran didn`t want a stair lift but loves it now.”

“A bit more information and clarification need on the insurance. Happy with the Stairlift and the Surveyor and Installers good.”

“Very easy to deal with, they did what they said they would. The Installers were very quick and it only took 1 1/2 hours to install. Very happy with the result.”

“We bought a Reconditioned Stairlift and it was right up to standard. The Surveyor came out on Bank holiday Monday and the Stairlift was then installed on the Thursday. It only took 3 hours. Very professional company.”

“Excellent from start to finish from the Rep to the people who installed it. Mum was very hesitant but is now thrilled.”

“Surveyor said they wouldn`t be able to install the exact Stairlift i wanted but when the fitters can they said it would of been possible which was annoying. The service itself was quick and the Stairlift itself is easy to use.”

“Quick to install, brilliant, efficient and helpful.”

“Really pleased with the Stairlift. Acorn were very quick to send the Surveyor round and quick to install we couldn`t fault them. It now means i can go back to using my bedroom as i was sleeping down stairs before we had the Stairlift installed.”

“Very good service. The Surveyor called quickly and gave us loads of information. A lot easier than trying to walk up the stairs. Really good.”

“Very efficient and pleasant to work with. One or two small problems which were dealt with quickly.”

“The Stairlift was noisey when they left and they said they would come back to fix it but we had to chase them to sort it out. We decided when my husband had a fall down stairs to think about a Stairlift which i am glad we did as it has given us the safety we needed.”

“We did get a reduction in price which was very good. The Surveyor was not pushy and we were impressed with video he showed us. He answered all questions and was sympathetic about budget. No pressure. We liked what we saw so i went with Acorn. The installers and customer services were also good.”

“Typical commercial company they don`t feel genuine. Too many prices that keep getting reduced to secure the sale. Stair lift very bumpy and i found it very uncomfortable. Machine just isn`t up to it. Installers ok”

“Very good, Acorn answered all my questions on the initial visit. Very satisfactory no problems and a quick service.”

“The Stairlift is marvelous and has done wonders for my legs as there is no strain going up the stairs anymore. Although i find the ride a little bumpy. The Surveyor was very professional and the installers were nice.”

“Very efficient and professional. The only problems we had was Acorn changing the initial appointment due to sickness, having to leave the keys in the stair lift, and the red light staying on as father likes everything to be off at night. Other than that the Surveyor was amazing and gave us lots of information and the Installers were neat and tidy. Fitted so quickly. Amazing.”

“They came and did what they said they would do. Tremendous. Very quick service.”

“Very quick service, top class. Very friendly and professional.”

“Prompt service with the attention to detail as expected. Engineering is superb.”

“Fantastic - from the quality of the workmanship to the installers and the customer services it was perfect. Very fast service and from initial contact the stair lift was fitted within 10 days. Excellent.”

“Very quick service. The fitters were very good and we couldn`t fault them. Stair lift is very easy to operate.”

“They made a big hiccup with the measuring in the first place, then the stair lift has broken down twice. The poor chap was here for 8 hours trying to fix it. After that the thing still went wrong! They came out again to fix and so far all seems ok, but becuase of my experience so far I am afraid I wouldn`t recommend the company based on the quality of the product.”

“Paid less than the quote as other work was being done in the area. We didn`t have to wait long for installation and the installation itself didn`t take long at all. Made such a difference.”

“Price paid was cheaper than the quote, very happy with the service and easy to use. The installer was great.”
