Unfortunately, due to the 2 Easter Bank Holidays instalation was a little delayed but when the day came it was all done within a couple of hours. No mess and very little disruption to the rest of the house (apart from making the odd mug of tea). Al expectations were metand I am very pleased with the product and afterservice so far. “I wasn’t properly informed that if the stairlift control was let go on the way either up or down one was left stranded and the remote control operated by the person helping came to the rescue. Flakes of stuff on the carpet and a piece fell off . On phoning and told that’s fine put it in a drawer. Asked for engineer took three phone calls.. App. for. 20 days later. Though the stairlift is still in use ,so not a real problem.”

“There was a problem with the raising of the bottom rail which necessitated another visit one week later. The remote buttons are hard to see so it’s easy to confuse up and down. The mechanism is noisy and the seat has developed a squeak.”

“Both the initial surveyor and, particularly, the installing engineer were very thorough in asking about the requirements of the intended user. The completed installation was very well demonstrated and the user manual explained. The back office service leaves a little to be desired as at time of ordering we were told that the engineer would telephone to advise us of the commencement time. He was not given our phone number. Within a couple of hours of completion we were being hounded for paym”

“made a good job clean worker and very helpful. only thing wrong the salesman said that we did not need to remove radiator when it should have been move so makes it a little awkward for me to get on at the bottom of the stairs, but other wise great”

“Not as neat as I imagined it would be. The surveyor told us things, that were not correct when it came to fitting and delivery. Mismeasured the stairs and gave a fitting date that could not be met. Was also told that we did not have to pay in full until we were happy with the stairlift, then had to pay in full after being fitted. I also had to chase up the invoice.”
