“I had two companies visit and chose the second one because their product had more convenient controls and also it was a few hundred pounds cheaper.”

“it has made my husbands life so much easier. the advisor who came to measure up, the electrician and finally the fitter were all friendly, knowledgeable, and the work was done promptly and cleanly. we couldn't ask for more.”

“Unable to deliver all components to complete the installation. After 3 visits from installation operatives still unable to satisfactorily complete the installation. Not worthy of recommendation for a chimpanzees tea party”

“From initial call to completed installation we received a very professional and efficient service.”

“I am still awaiting the fitting of my stairlift. I was told it would be fitted on the 22nd but had a phone call to say parts not ready in the morning. After numerous phone calls and promises the parts were delivered to my home Wednesday at 6.15am and left blocking my front door dangerous as I was unable leave the property. The fitters eventually arrived put up the rail, but the lift did not work. Many phone calls and emails later a fitter came, Friday and Saturday but the lift still did not work”

“I wa s told that fitting would take place on Monday 16th August.By Thursday the 12ththere was no word of when the stairlift components would be delivered or when an electrician would fit power for the charger. I telephoned then and again several times on Friday was promised a call with information which never came ,I also sent an email and repeated it on the Saturday. On Sunday the electrician told me that he would be here 9.0-9.30 Monday am he was and his visit was perfectly satisfactory. On Mo”

“Initially there was a mix-up with the rail where a re-booking had to made. On the second appointment all work was completed to expectations”

“The fitter was instructed to eee-insert the screws in the wall. He asked me about this and I confrmed that wish for it to be done. It was never done.”

“The stairlift was installed in just over an hour - and has been extremely valuable”

“The only problem I had was the extended warranty and cost was not explained at the point of sale. You get a phone call a few weeks after the lift is fitted. For a piece of equipment that is sold as almost faultless I think the extended warranty is a bit expensive. All that said I am very pleased with my Acorn stairlift, 5*****”

“I have found the stairlift very useful and it has been very good”

“My stairlift was ordered on a Tuesday and fitted on Wednesday. Everyone who came were polite, pleasant and efficient”

“It's given me my independence back. Couldn't believe it was fitted so quickly and efficiently. Nice chap called Rob did the work. All left clean and tidy”

“My only complaint is to the cost of service agreement as I feel the cost is too high. I will consider this again after my warranty expires after 12 months.”

“My wife is 5 ft tall and her feet do not reach the foot rest. I was told by Acorn that there is no adjustment possible. Also it is painfully slow to reach its destination up or down. Recomend reading a book on the way.”

“Acorn was the only company that contacted us from this website and fitted the stair lift with 5 days.”

“Assistance from Stairlift Comparison was immediate after first making contact. We chose Acorn because they arrived within two hours of our enquiry and our new curved rail was measured for, installed, adjusted and fully functional within a week. The service we encountered from Acorn was nothing less than first class.”
