Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“Excellent company glad we chose them now from start to finish they were excellent if you choose a stair lift from them you will have made a wonderful purchase”

“An excellent product however, and this applies to all manufacturers of chair lifts, I think they are overly expensive. Many people who would actually benefit from having one will find difficulty in meeting the costs.”

“fitted to time but unclear on VAT position Price was way above estimate.”

“Superb service from start to finish. Highly recommended.”

“Very good service ordered and fitted .in24 hrs.”

“Pre sales the efficiency and professional as was the fitting. The engineer could not have been more easy to communicate with, in spite of the long fitting he remained positive and professional. 100% satisfied.”

“Would have been very good if the fitter had cleared up the metal swarf from the drive before my puppy could get his paws cut.”

“Very quick service and very tidy would recommend to any body”

“Just Great. Thanks.”

“Brilliant all round fab service!! Very quick installation within day or two of sale. Lifesaver! Would have gone to Acorn sooner had I been aware.”

“No issues with the install, all working well since. Don't forget to ask when being given the quote (as I did) about the ongoing maintenance charge. Ouch!”

“From start to finish all Acorn employees were very professional and helpful. Stairlift was for my elderly parents. All correspondence went through myself. Very efficient and from start to finish whole process took 5 days. Would definitely recommend Acorn.”

“Very pleased with information given to me prior to deciding if I should buy the Acorn stair lift. I find it easy to use and I no longer have a fear of falling down the stairs.”

“The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Survey on the Monday and fitted on the Thursday. Great service.”

“Simple no fuss installation done in couple of hours including operation instruction. Smart looking product, our reason to purchase this make and model”

“Contacted on Monday ,advisor visited on Tuesday , stairlift fitted on Thursday. What's not to like about that”

“I had 3 different recommendations from 3 sales people. All got the measurements wrong. I was assured there would bec1 inch between my knees and the wall. In fact there is 1/4" and i have to be very careful not to hit the wall. Recommend with cautuon.”

“Too hard a sell at the beginning despite being told my husband was terminally ill. My husband died only 4 weeks after the stairlift was fitted but despite original assurances that Acorn would help sell the stairift, they have been of no help at all. Their only concern is to make more money from those in my situation.”

“From initial enquiry to fitting was less than a week and every member of staff I dealt with was fantastic. Highly professional company and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the product or the company to anyone in need of a stairlift.”

“I can't believe how slow it is my mum has had the use of a few and this is by far the worst.”

“I was told this product was available in a number of colours to find it was either cream, red or black. It has taken a few months for an engineer to visit at a suitable time to complete the sale by demonstration. I kept telling them I was too sick to wait up till after 6pm for them to arrive and sometimes being told they wouldn't be with me till midnight. Left hand doesn't know what the right is doing would be a good description. The stairlift itself is wonderful, cream was the only colour s”

“Very willing to help out at a time of crisis, very happy”
