Stairlift Comparison reviews from UK buyers

“This was for my mum- she was very pleased with the service from start to finish and the workmanship of the product is very good. The stairlift is very quiet and she can use it very easily. This is a weight of my mind to know she is now safe going up and down the stairs.”

“YES but would have liked more options for a lighter matress with the bed”

“They started a day late due to ill engineer, but it was no problem as an engineer came the following day. The engineer was charming and we are very pleased with our new stairlift”

“The fitter was extremely good very considerate. He had a hard job with our 3 bend staircase, but all done perfectly.”

“From initial inquiry to fitting was less than 36 hours, which was just what we needed as my wife had, had an accident and could not be released from hospital until we had the stair lift in place. Brilliant Job.”

“The machine has broken down twice, my father has been stranded on the stair lift twice, the battery has blown along with several other issues. After sales service is appalling. The initial sale was misleading and promised things we weren`t actually entitled to when the engineer got there. We were lucky enough to still be in our cooling off period so are having the stair lift removed this weekend.”

“Good quality product, delivered and installed on time within budget. Job well done.”

“Although we were mislead as far as timings on the day were concerned, the job itself was done quickly & efficiently.”

“The installation man was great”

“The work was done quickly and competently in a cheerful manner.”

“I wanted the track to be in one piece, not joined,I know the track would not come in by the front door, by as I pointed out it could have come via the kitchen window, all I was told health and safety, could not do it.”

“False start - as the engineer was ill but some one was with us the day after. We did have a few glitches had to call them back out but there customer service was great got everything sorted very quickly and efficiently.”

“The engineer was a day late due to a family emergency, but when he came the following day he was great. 1st class job.”

“Very quick - fitted in 48 hours very happy”

“They were most helpful, fitting was really quick”

“Very very pleased”

“Quite pleased how quick it all was - 48 hours between meeting someone and having it fitted. I spoke to some other companies and none were as quick and straight forward as acorn were.”

“It was fitted very quickly- very pleasant engineer, we are very happy with the stair lift. We did get a price from Stannah which was a lot higher even just for a reconditioned stair lift, so i`m sure we made the right choice.”

“I am very happy with the stair lift.”

“We were slightly mislead by the sales person and were advised they`d have to remove a door and fit on the right hand side over the Bannister -but when the engineer turned up he was happy to fit on the left hand side which was much more suited for the property and prevented doors having to be removed and us not having access to our Bannister. These changes caused for it to take longer for the engineer but i was very happy with the service in the end and it all worked out for best.”

“Absolutely great job - the service really was brilliant. My in laws needed an adjustment due to them having a new bathroom door fitted and they came back within 24 hours and made the adjustment free of charge.”

“I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it was fitted. The fitter was really helpful and made sure i was completely happy using the stair lift before he left. I would defiantly recommend to others.”

“Really good really helpful, seat belt a bit sticky but i will contact them to have this looked at.”

“They lied about when they could fit it just so they could get the job they assured me it would be fitted within 14 days which is why i agreed to use them, it took 21 days for them to start the job then 8 weeks to finish it. The engineers were nice and the final product is fine.”
