The engineering survey and fitting were very good, and above expectations. The initial visit from the salesman was not so good. We were not left with the best option for our particular situation.

Because of previous engagement not going yo plan the fitting was only completed at 6.30pm but we were kept informed. The stair lift is exactly what we wanted. A follow up visit was nesserary to change a component everything is fine now..

I had read the reviews for Senior Stairlifts and I completely understand why they are all five stars. I am absolutely delighted with the excellent service that I have received and with the price. I ordered a straight reconditioned stairlift which looks brand-new and I love it! Ryan came on Monday morning to take measurements and two days later, Dan came to fit the stairlift. Many thanks to both who were friendly, polite and extremely efficient. Dan had the stairlift fitted well within two hours.

I am alone much of the time and need to take things - laundry for instance- up and down stairs which your stairlft does NOT make easy, something I wish the salesman had stressed more! If the items are not too big they go in a tote bag round my neck.

All waste was taken away by the installer without me needing to ask. We were told that a few noises as the lift moved would reduce as it was used more and this is, indeed, just what is happening.

Well pleased with the installing engineer , knowledge and efficiency. I had to call an engineer 2 days after installation as the seat belt was snagging. Communication can be difficult , I put a query on the Club website and it wasn't responded so I had to phone to get a response. Overall not impressed with the after sales system. I would be hesitant to strongly recommend Acorn as there are so many companies to choose .

Installed last week. All fine at first, the started stopping in middle of use. Very scary as had problem getting out of it and having to use the stairs. Several phone calls, and engineer supposed to come. Has happened again today. I am an 82 year old widow, and the whole experience has been awful.

The attention to detail by the surveyor was first class, resulting in all clearances etc. being correctly anticipated in the detailed design and installed as planned. Some final operational adjustments were required which extended the finishing time slightly. Aspects were raised and explained to me which were never touched on by the other suppliers.
