Stairlifts come with fantastic safety features, this one here has 4, two large pressure switches on the side of the foot rest, which when pressed lightly stop the stairlift straight away you then also have two larger ones either side of the track. We are now going to demonstrate this in action with a handbag on the staircase.
The other great thing about Stairlifts is they are continuously being charged when they’re stationary. There are two charging points on the track, one at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top so no matter where it is it’s always on charge. If for any reason there was a power cut your stair lift has enough built up charge to last 3 or 4 trips up the stairs.
