Buying a used or second hand stair lift can offer great financial savings compared to buying new.

There are however consideration which must be made. If you are buying from a private individual it is unlikely that the stairlift will have a warranty, and so fitting the stairlift in your home will be your responsibility. However, you can buy second hand / used stair lifts from companies which specialise in used and second hand stairlifts. If buying from a reputable company the stairlift will come with a 12 month warranty and will include fitting.
